I'm quoting from Memory Alpha here: "As mirror Sulu is the security chief as well as the helmsman, George Takei wears a red uniform in this episode – since he normally wore gold, and had worn science blue as an astrophysicist in "Where No Man Has Gone Before", this makes Takei the first Trek actor to wear all three uniform colors." A quick update on the timeline for Cassini’s end of mission. At 3:58pm Eastern Daylight Time, Cassini will take the final images with its camera. A short time later, the spacecraft will turn towards Earth, starting a downlink on the Deep Space Network that will last until the end of mission. I will share links to watch the live stream of the end of mission tomorrow morning, so watch Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for that link. I will also post the link here in the show notes.

I spent a few hours at the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas. The museum houses fantastic artifacts and is worth taking a road trip or trip to see. They even have an adult Space Camp, which I'm not going to lie, sounds amazing!

Today I cover a little of the history of that launch plus I cover some news from a SpaceX launch earlier today. On the next episode I will be looking at what Gordo did during the last Mercury mission, and talk a little about the new Discovery Channel series "Cooper's Treasure"
